Yesterday ENVI went on a field trip to Central Park in New York City! When we got there, the students had the ability to explore Central Park and have free time and lunch in small groups. Upon arriving back at Yale, the students engaged in a session reviewing the history of Central Park, and many of the environmental concerns within urban areas. This session also went into depth about parks and green spaces, in relation to the urban city development and Central Park. After dinner, the students went into their second round of rotation classes, followed by an activity called Dyadic Encounter. This activity gave the students the chance to prioritize their listening and conversational skills with one another. They ended off the night with getting some rest for an early trip to Woods Hole the next day!
