Yesterday we broke the kids down into TA groups in order to address any last minute details or questions they may have had about the case. Afterwards they had a leadership series with Big Dave in order to explain what they have discovered about themselves throughout the entire session. Kids addressed how they became more aware and respectful of others on top of the immense knowledge they learned about law. Additionally, many students mentioned the lifelong relationships they have built within the law community in the past nine days because of their shared values and mindsets. Lastly, the mock trial which was the final stimulation of the session happened later in the day where students were able to put all their knowledge about the law in front of a judge and jury and share theirs evidence and information with the rest of their classmates.
