Environmental Science and Sustainability took a trip down to Central Park where they could explore one of the largest green spaces in an urban area around the world. Students had time to explore the park, learn its history, how it benefits NYC and have lunch in the city. Upon returning, students began the Green Building Design lab, where they were tasked with building a mini model of a home for their assigned environment using sustainable building techniques. Students finished the night with the second three rotation classes created and taught by the staff.
